We are proud to announce the opening short course at Band On The Wall will be led by Drumroots, leading exponents of West African drum workshops specialising in the djembe tradition.

An inspiring 7 week course bringing the traditional techniques of the West African djembe (hand drum) to life. Course tutors are all experienced and inspirational musicians.

Working together, participants will create a dynamic final group performance of 3 traditional West African rhythms, with song, dance and special guest artists.  This course is suitable for intermediate to advanced players. Experience in the Global Grooves ‘West African Funk’ course will be helpful.
