With specialist skills in the fabrication trade, Junk Jam offers you an experience in stretching your knowledge and trade talents to further the artistic desires of a design team.

Anyone is welcome to volunteer for elements of this project but there are certain areas of development where we need special skills. More and more skills will be required as the project develops, but so far we’ve identified possible roles for:

Welders, Engineers, Electronics specialists, Sculptors, Textile workers, Carpenters, Metal Workers, Creative Thinkers, ‘Makers’, Organisers and Project Managers, Brass Players, Instrument Makers and ‘off the wall’ artists of any description interested in pushing the boundaries and creating something truly unique….. If you are a specialist within your industry, we would love an injection of your passion into our exciting new project.

And that’s not all. Junk Jam will also provide opportunity for artists and the community to become the cast of several unique large-scale ‘mobile’ performance pieces including Junk Percussion, Dance, Song, Brass and Costume.
