Junk Jam will gain ever increasing momentum from the efforts and energy of those volunteers who can bring time, skills, and enthusiasm to this exciting endeavour. How will you get involved?

Junk Jam needs YOU.

We are lucky enough to already have several local artists and specialist fabricators onboard who will work with our design team to sketch up the sculptures and costumes that will be featured in Junk Jam; no idea is too ‘out there’. You can get involved in a series of performance and/or ‘making’ workshops that will take place in the Manchester area, where you will see the weird and wonderful ideas come to life at your fingertips. No experience? No problem! One of Junk Jam’s main aims is to offer development opportunities and new experiences to any volunteers interested in exploring carnival arts in a new setting and supporting a worthwhile community project.
