Schools: Inspire Young Minds

Help us share our passion and energy for educating young people about the benefits of recycling and community initiatives.

The central ethos of the Junk Jam project is to show what amazing things can be done through simple, cheap (or free!) processes. Using recycled materials, costumes and mobile sculptures will be created by a specialist team of artists and fabricators, with opportunities to get involved for both young people and excited adults.

Your school and students can put your stamp on Junk Jam.

At your request, one of our team may give a short talk and demonstration for your pupils and provide your school with a unique brief (perhaps to collect a specific ‘shopping list’ of recyclable items that our project will need). We will then collect this trash-treasure from your school and in exchange we offer your young people the chance to attend a series of free workshops with our music, dance, and costume tutors leading up to a performance. We believe in the power of educating young people about the benefits of recycling initiatives and promoting creative involvement from an early age.
